MIDDLEWICH COMMUNITY CENTRE

Run by a charitable trust by volunteers, Middlewich Community Centre is not only based in the heart of the town but is the heart of the town; as many residents remember it as the home of former playschool 'Playbox', which ran under Sandra Lewis for 27 years.

..or should it be Village Hall?

There were many people involved at the start of what has become known as the Community Centre, with the land loaned of the Chester Diocese.

Serving the community

Affordable private hire is just one of the ways that the centre serves the Community.  Not only has the centre hosted Christenings from St Michaels and All Angels Church, it has witnessed the growth of many local children through their toddler years and into their preschool years during the 27 years of Playbox, a traditionally ran playschool.  Now many children of Middlewich and District celebrate their birthdays with playmates here.

We provide space for not-for-profit groups, such as  Brownies, Rainbows, and the Bisto Kidz over 50s (formerly RHM pensioners), to meet at discounted rates and low-cost rates for local enterprises such as Minerva Arts,The Collin School for Dance and the Middlewich and District Concert Society (we have great acoustics) to name but a few.
